Modern spiritual culture often suggests that to raise your frequency (your vibration) is to rise above—to ascend or transcend what is “lower.” But true harmonic resonance doesn’t move in one direction. It deepens. It integrates, deepens, integrates, and returns to itself in a continuous spiral.
High frequency isn’t a prize perched at the top of a ladder—it’s the natural state of coherence when all parts of self are included, honored, and alive within the infinite quantum energy field.
“We do not rise in frequency by leaving something behind. We rise by returning to wholeness consistently until we become established in it as our natural state of being.”
—Lee Kemter
We see this return to wholeness embodied not only in spiritual teachings, but in the lives of people who held fast to wholeness in moments that could have fractured them:
- Thích Nhất Hạnh (1926–2022) responded to the brutal Vietnam war with mindfulness, creating “engaged Buddhism” and radiating presence like a bell in devastating chaos.
- Nelson Mandela (1918–2013) emerged from 27 years in prison without bitterness. Instead he modeled two astounding attributes: clear vision and formidable forgiveness. His forgiveness wasn’t passive—it came from deep integration. He chose wholeness over resentment, and that level of coherence radiated through his leadership. His wholeness made him magnetic. It was a field effect—others felt it.
- Viktor Frankl (1905–1997) was a Holocaust survivor and psychiatrist, endured Auschwitz without suppressing his grief, terror, or human pain. Yet he continued to return to his core: a deep, inner clarity and sense of purpose as he valiantly endured the horrors of a concentration camp and emerged with a philosophy rooted in meaning and dignity.
- Marguerite Porete (d. 1310) As a lesser-known French mystic and author of The Mirror of Simple Souls, Marguerite was burned at the stake for her teachings on spiritual freedom and union with the Divine. She taught that the soul’s highest state was one of emptiness and divine simplicity—a glowing stillness that threatened hierarchy and cost her life.
- Hildegard of Bingen (1098–1179) was a polymath—also a composer, healer, visionary, and mystic—who described her spiritual experiences as living light. She emphasized harmony between body, spirit, nature, and cosmos, while composing music and espousing healing teachings in an era that often silenced women—drawing from a radiant inner field of vision and harmony. She believed that each being had a tone, and that illness was disharmony. She composed soaring music designed to realign the soul with divine order. Hildegard didn’t reject the body or the world—she listened deeply to it. Her remarkable visions often came in states of contemplative coherence, rather than self-denial. She said, “All living creatures are sparks from the radiation of God’s brilliance.”
These individuals didn’t “climb up” a spiritual ladder. Instead, they became rooted into something eternal. They intentionally circled inward. They became more fully who they already were. This is the path of frequency as wholeness—unlike engaging in escapism or endless “ascension” practices.
A Common Misunderstanding
When people hear “raise your frequency,” many picture a spiritual escalator. Climb high enough and you’ll escape discomfort, transcend the lower worlds, or unlock the next tier of awakening. This belief is reinforced by charts, colors, and hierarchical language that ranks states of being from “low vibe” to “high vibe.” I’ve fallen into using this climbing or escalating model when trying to find words to explain frequency and how and why we would want to explore this topic.
But here’s the truth I’ve come to by paying close attention to quantum physicists who study the field and comparing their descriptions of raising our frequency with the direct experiences of profound humans like the ones I mentioned above.
Frequency isn’t a ladder. It’s an energy field—energy in motion.
Coherence means that all parts of you—mental, emotional, physical, and energetic—are in relationship. They’re resonating together rather than fighting each other.
Wholeness does not require us to strive for perfection. Wholeness is inclusivity with alignment. Wholeness is when…
- your presence can hold contradiction without collapse.
- you don’t deny the dark in order to radiate the light.
- your tone (unique signal to the field) remains authentic in both chaos and calm.
Think of people like Nelson Mandela, who emerged from decades in prison without bitterness, embodying reconciliation. Or Thích Nhất Hạnh, who met the violence of war with gentle clarity. Their frequency wasn’t “above”—it was integrated. They moved in harmony with the field, not above it.
In everyday life, wholeness looks like:
- Responding to a child’s tantrum with calm instead of control.
- Holding grief and gratitude in the same breath.
- Feeling anger and choosing action over aggression.
These moments don’t feel lofty. yet they are deeply resonant. Can you feel the resonance with the field that this kind of experience provides for your energetic body?
Dropping the Image of Steps, Embracing the Reality of an Infinite Field
In quantum field theory, everything exists within an energy field—particles, waves, and information—all interacting in dynamic relationship. No particle climbs a staircase. Instead, it emerges from the field, shaped by resonance, entanglement, and pattern recognition.
There is no top. No next level. Just deeper coherence.
A helpful metaphor: Rather than a staircase, think of a symphony.
Each instrument plays its own note. When they tune to one another, a harmony emerges—not because one sound is better, but because they resonate together.
Evolution, in this view, is not a linear climb. It is a spiraling deepening of relational intelligence—with self, with others, and with the cosmos.
The Invisible Yet Visceral Spiral of Return
In musical terms, a higher C is still C. You don’t stop being who you are when you evolve—you just express a clearer, more resonant version of your tone (your signal to the field).
Life doesn’t spiral upward—it spirals inward and outward, returning in new forms.
The spiral has long been a symbol of sacred growth. In galaxies, seashells, and sacred art, it reminds us that the path of awakening is not toward the sky but toward coherence with the field.
You don’t rise up and away from grief... because you move with it, through it, and return with greater compassion. You spiral back with new frequency — the same core note, with deeper resonance.
This is not ascension as escapism. Think of this as re-integration. This is your homecoming.
Embodied Practice: Spiral Awareness Walk
Give your body a chance to feel the truth of this.
Find a quiet space—a field, a forest, or even your living room. If possible, imagine a large spiral on the ground or create one using yarn, string, books, rocks, or other creative tools. Start at the outer edge and slowly walk inward, turning with each coil.
As you walk, ask:
- What thoughts arise on the outer edge?
- What emotions or memories surface as I spiral closer to center?
- What feels familiar? What feels new?
- Where do I want to speed up or stop?
- What changes on the way out?
This spiral isn’t a maze. It’s simply a path you are walking in this moment in spacetime. Note there is no finish line—only presence at each curve. You go as deep as you like and at your own pace. 🌀
Now reflect:
- How does walking this spiral feel different than walking in a straight line?
- Can I feel how this path reflects life itself?
- How might I approach my “next level” in life differently if I remembered this shape?
You can repeat the exercise by drawing a spiral and imagining you are going to center and back out. What happens to your awareness as you draw the spiral in and then back out? This shape is found in nature from a nautilus shell to gulches… it’s embedded deeply within us. Engaging with this shape can be an exploration into deeper layers of consciousness.
Together we can realize:
- We are already part of an endless energy field.
- We do not have to rise to meet it.
- We just tune ourselves to it.
Allow room for stillness in daily life and create space to feel and experience your inherent wholeness. Rinse and repeat.
My personal wish is to:
- Let go of striving.
- Let go of comparing vibrations.
- Let go of trying to ascend.
I am not here to climb.
I am here to remember myself—again and again—in fuller, deeper, more harmonious tones.
Coming Next
Merging seen and unseen remains our focus. Join me next time for more essential, often overlooked, aspects of yourself and Reality you won’t want to miss.
Take time to linger within the frequencies and revelations of this post as long as you like.
See you in a few days,

P.S. For parents who want to introduce this subject to your children or for those who would like to have a tool for homeschooling, here are games and playful ways for kids to understand “frequency” in daily life.
Let’s begin with kids ages 9-12.
Check this out:

Philosophy You’re Sharing
- Raising frequency is not going up—it’s feeling how deep and wide we are
- True coherence with the infinite energy field and each other comes from presence, kindness, and listening
- Every child already has this capacity inside—raising our frequency (or what I think of as “expanding” it) is remembering, not achieving
- They influence the field of their family and friends just by being in harmony with themselves
Use this image to anchor the concept that frequency is natural.
Concept:
- A child walking a spiral path barefoot in nature
- Along the way, their frequency glows brighter—not upward, but outward
- No symbols of reward or competition—just connection, breath, and their innate radiance
P.S.S. For ages 5-12 years-old:
🎨 Coloring Pages for Ages 5–8: “Frequency as Feeling”
These coloring pages can visually convey the feeling-tone of frequency without needing complex language. Each page includes soft, expressive illustrations that children can interpret intuitively. Because of their age, we want to encourage intuitive connections to the field more than logic.
- “How Does Kindness Glow?”
Color the waves of kindness that flow from your heart. What colors does your kindness feel like? Who or what is receiving your kindness?

2. “My Frequency Garden”

Each flower represents an expanded frequency quality: joy, curiosity, calm, courage, etc.
- Which feelings help your frequency to grow bigger and let people know you love them?
- Color the flowers and imagine them blooming inside you.
3. “Follow the Frequency Trail”
This is spiral path that leads through different little moments each day: giving a hug, listening to a friend, dancing, or just laughing.
Color the trail, recognizing how these actions expand your child’s frequency naturally.
As they trace the spiraling frequency trail, ask: Can you remember a time you did these things? How did you feel? (That’s when you let expanded frequencies flow from you and expanded frequencies that feel good flow back to you).

Interactive Activity for Ages 9–12:
“The Spiral Frequency Map”
A guided journaling + visualization activity that helps older children feel frequency rising in a non-linear way—more like a spiral than a ladder.

Materials:
Use the blank spiral template (or they can draw their own spiral) and have colored pencils or markers ready.
✏️ Instructions for Use:
- Begin at the outer edge of the spiral.
- Imagine you are walking slowly on a sparkling, spiraling path towards a peaceful center.
- As you imagine walking, color the path you are on. Begin to change the colors of the path as you move towards the center. Think about different feelings you‘ve noticed during the day and use colors you associate with those feelings to color the path. Keep changing the colors you are tracing on the spiral until you reach the center.
- When you reach the center, imagine you are arriving at a special place—this center is where you send out your calm, kind, expanded frequencies to the whole energy field. Color that frequency center with color(s) that makes you feel happy, kind, friendly, and calm—(colors that remind you of what you want to send into the field of energy all around you—to your friends, family, pets, and even the stars and planets).
- Share your expanded frequencies with everyone, everything, everywhere, all at once. What colors come into your mind as you share?
- Gently close your eyes as you feel the frequencies that are coming back to you from the energy field all around you.
- Spend a few minutes sending out the frequencies from your center, and feel what kind of frequencies come back to you. Are the frequencies you send out different or similar to the ones you receive? There’s no right answer. Just notice giving and receiving frequencies.
- Repeat this tomorrow and see if anything changes.
🌀 This activity helps children to feel the spiral of frequencies, also called “energy in motion,” that we emit and receive all the time. Ask your child: Which frequencies do you want to send out right now to:
- Lakes, oceans, and the fishes
- Hills, deserts, mountains, or even the stars sun or moon
- Birds or maybe animals
- Your family
- Your friends
- Yourself (remember you can send yourself frequencies that feel good)
When they finish emitting the frequencies, ask them to write or draw what that felt like and be sure to capture what they learned today in words, sounds (maybe they make up a song), images, or any other artistic creation they would like to create to remind them of spiraling frequencies.
I hope you and your children enjoy exploring frequency—not as a goal but as a natural way of interacting with the infinite field of energy in and around us. This invisible world is as real as everything we can see, touch, hear, taste, and smell. It’s important to start engaging with what can’t be observed by our senses but can be felt and emanated through a peaceful, benevolent heart.
May your children’s frequencies (and yours) spiral into a place of profound beauty and pure love,
