Dear readers, explorers, and lovers of the unseen,
If your book club has chosen Traversing the Wild Unknown, first: thank you. This book was written from the depths of curiosity, introspection, and wonder, and it’s an honor to know that groups are gathering to share, reflect, and traverse its layers together.
So much research, soul-searching, and synthesis went into the making of this story—pulling from quantum science, ancient wisdom traditions, and our collective longing for coherence in chaotic times. Below are a few suggestions to help your book club get the most out of the journey.
Book Club Tips
1.Give the metaphors a chance to come to life for you
This book was written in layered depths of meaning. Allow time to sit with metaphors or symbols. This is what I mean:
When one of the characters says: "The influences of secrecy run like a turbulent current, uninhibitedly headed downstream into my lineage." P. 73 Based on what is revealed, what meaning does this have for the reader?
At one point, Sophia's (the main character's) destiny is described: "Regardless of what had happened on Planet Earth, the astonishing potentiality for her destiny danced like a wildfire of optimism in every atom of her being." P. 96 How does the book delivery on this prediction? From a macro view, how could the destiny of everyone fit this prediction?
During turbulent times, friendships matter more than ever. How did moments like this allow the characters to literally shift their DNA and go back into life ready to face whatever came roaring towards them? "His voice was saturated with a sense of honor and solicitude which he spread like an invisible blanket over his closest friend," P. 111.
Invite each reader to share how those images resonate personally.
2. Explore the questions between the lines
Some of the deepest insights aren’t in the dialogue—they’re in the silence, the pause, the unknown. Encourage your group to bring up moments that stirred a question, not just an answer.
3. Map the journey—emotionally and thematically
Have members identify their emotional arc across the book. Where did they feel sad, anxious, or worried? Awakened? Elevated? What recurring themes did they notice—grief, reconnection, time, memory, truth?
4. Pair it with music or nature
One group read the final chapters by a fire, listening to ambient soundscapes. Another walked together in silence before discussing the first few chapters of Part 2—which includes quantum, next-level revelations under the Earth's surface. Feel free to experiment with ways to bring the book off the page.
5. Bring in other voices
You might pair sections of the book with articles, TED Talks, or teachings from mystics, physicists, or philosophers. The web of ideas it draws from is vast—and it’s meant to cross-pollinate.
